Abstract: This seminar and workshop series is targeted to the School of Computer Science and Robotics Institute graduate students, undergraduate students, post docs, faculty, staff, and local alumni. It is intended to provide a brief overview of relevant topics in entrepreneurship that are pertinent considerations to the audience as they contemplate starting a venture based on robotic technology. Each session will consist of a brief lecture on a topic, a presentation by a successful entrepreneur in the robotics area, followed by a workshop session to discuss the topic of the day as well as for the audience to discuss with the faculty and visiting entrepreneurs their proposed ideas and opportunities for potential commercialization and startup companies.
